Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. The service

Doklavio is software for designing reusable templates and generating PDF documents from structured data. Features may include local and cloud templates, team sharing, subscriptions and a server-to-server API.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms. Account information must be accurate, and you are responsible for activity performed through your account and API keys. Team owners are responsible for inviting authorised members and managing their access.

3. Use of the service

Features may change, be unavailable or contain defects. Users should review generated output before relying on it and should not use Doklavio for medical, safety-critical or other prohibited high-risk processing.

4. Your content

You retain rights in templates, records, images and other content you provide. You grant Doklavio the limited rights necessary to host, process, reproduce and transmit that content solely to provide, secure and support the service. You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis required to use the content and instruct its processing.

You are responsible for reviewing generated PDFs before use. Doklavio does not verify that a document is accurate, legally valid, compliant, properly addressed or suitable for its intended purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Doklavio to:

  • break the law or violate another person's privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights;
  • upload malware, exploit code or content intended to compromise the service;
  • access another account, tenant, template or credential without authorisation;
  • evade quotas, rate limits, security controls or access restrictions;
  • resell or reverse engineer the service except where mandatory law expressly permits it;
  • generate deceptive, fraudulent, abusive or unlawful documents.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

Available plans, billing intervals, included usage and the total price are shown before an order is placed. Subscriptions renew for the selected interval until cancelled through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid billing period unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Applicable taxes and any specific refund or withdrawal information will be displayed during checkout.

If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that applicable law does not allow these terms to limit or exclude.

7. Intellectual property

Doklavio and its software, branding, interface and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no Doklavio intellectual property is transferred to you.

8. Availability and changes

Reasonable efforts may be made to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised. Features may be changed for security, legal, technical or product reasons. Material changes affecting paid users must be communicated fairly and must not override mandatory consumer rights.

9. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, non-payment or material breach. Users may delete their account through the available account controls. Before paid launch, the final terms must explain subscription cancellation and the consequences for stored content.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, pre-release access is provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Doklavio is a document-production tool, not legal, tax, accounting or professional advice. Any limitation of liability in the final commercial terms must be fair, proportionate and must preserve mandatory consumer remedies for non-conforming digital services.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Latvian law. For consumers, this choice does not deprive them of mandatory protections under the law of their country of habitual residence where those protections apply. Users should contact Doklavio first so a complaint can be investigated. Consumers may also use dispute-resolution rights available through the competent authorities.

12. Contact

Doklavio is based in Latvia. Legal operator, registration, address and support details will be added when registration is complete.
